ヨシダダイキチ / English below

北インドの弦楽器シタールの奏者/作編曲家。

1996年よりインド音楽とシタールを学び、2006年よりインド唯一のシタールの流派である名門イムダード派の7代目ウスタード・シュジャート・カーン Ustad Shujaat Khan に師事。

YOSHIMIO(Boredoms/OOIOO)とのユニット「SAICOBAB」等で活動。SAICOBABのアルバム『SAB SE PURANI BAB』は「2017年聴くべきアルバムTOP15（米・Rolling Stone）」「2017年ベストアルバムTOP27（英・The Wire）」に選出。

様々なアジア楽器のポリリズムと歌唱法を取り入れた「AlayaVijana」を結成し5枚のCDをリリース。

シタール5～30台を使ったユニット「sitaar-tah」を結成し、米・achiverecord/importantrecordから3枚のCDをリリース。

UAへ楽曲「ファティマとセミラ」「テュリ」「タラ」を提供、プロデュース。

インド楽器、バリ・ガムランなど多彩なアジア音楽でアレンジした奄美民謡の朝崎郁恵のアルバム「はまさき」をプロデュース。

秋田民謡・梅若会、アルナングシュ・チョドリィ、アビマン・カウシャル、アリフ・カーン、スダマニ、ヘナード・モタ、パトリシア・ロバート、ジム・オルーク、デバシシュ・バッタチャリア、フェルナンド・カブサッキほか多様なジャンルの音楽家と共演。台湾、中国、韓国、インド、カナダ等公演。

Yoshida started to learn Indian music and Sitar since 1996 from Debashish Sanyal at Varanasi and since 2005 from Ustad Shujaat Khan at Delhi.

The band “Saicobaba” which is formed with Yoshimi(Boredoms, OOIOO). Saicobaba .
Saicobab album/ SAB SE PURANI BAB was selected "15 Great Albums You Probably Didn't Hear in 2017" by RollingStone and "27th in their list of Top 50 Releases of 2017" by The Wire music magazine.
